No news on Angus for Countdown, but if you followed my tip for the 100m World Record to be broken you’ll be happily counting your winnings. It’s a shame that I couldn’t find odds on Bolt to do the sprint double as he’ll no doubt complete that later in the week. I also wouldn’t bet against Usain setting a new world record at 200m either; some books go 9/4.

There are some good looking prices for the football at the weekend with the Baggies a decent price to win at The Hawthorns against an Everton side that look in disarray. I also think that Portsmouth at nearly 5/1 represent good value against United. But my tips for this week will be Yeovil at 19/10 to beat Leeds and Aberdeen to beat the Gers at 7/2, both with William Hill.


The long shot for the week has to be Britney Spears to be Kelly Brook’s next partner at 250/1 with Paddypower. Even if it doesn’t win you money it has got to be worth at least thinking about, especially if it's the "...Baby One More Time" Britney, and not the shaven nutcase version.
