Mace-ive Chance Sept 6 2008

Hmmm, less said the better about the bet on the rugby tip from last week – that really couldn’t have gone much worse. The GAA bet was a success and meant a profitable week. Following on from that success I’d keep an eye on Tyrone’s odds from now until the 21st as I reckon they’ll get one over Kerry and you should get about 2.9ish.

In a display of loyalty to my Northern Irish brethren I’m going to say Slovakia will beat NI at evens. I also quite fancy Macedonia to beat Scotland at odds of 9/4; both these teams have lost their way a bit since new managers have taken over so with my first tip I go with Macedonia.

Think I’ll go with a win for Vijay in the BMW championship at 8/1. You know betting times are hard when you have to resort to punting on golf. My final bet for the week is whether or not any of you turds are actually reading my tips column. I reckon you’re not and if Tim does jack it in and I have to skipper this ship for a bit you’ll all be fecking sorry……

Smythy's Tips
3pts on Macedonia (v Scotland) 9/4
1pt on Vijay Singh (BMW championship) 8/1
